Just a quick heads up for those seeing this.
There seem to be issues with the Windows firewall on Server 2019, especially around NPS and port 1812.
(I have not checked other ports, but the issue may also apply elsewhere, so give me a heads up if you find other similar issues)
If you are using Citrix Content Collaboration and alongside it, using the Citrix Files app, you may be familiar with the fact that you cannot deploy centrally configured settings for the Citrix Files desktop app.
(PS: Citrix – why did you find it useful to name the service Content Collaboration, and then call the apps Citrix files? Please stop confusing the users.)
So the last couple of days I’ve been struggling with users having issues when trying to add an account in Citrix Receiver/Workspace on their local computer.
The issue showed up after upgrade from Citrix AD 12.0 > 12.1 (latest build)..
If you are running Windows autopilot on devices you may experience issues during enrollment/configuration after the 1903 update.
The issue comes when deploying Windows store apps with autopilot, and you may get faced with the enrollment process giving you an error when it gets to this step.
So, you got licenses for Microsoft Intune, and want to roll out some applications to your devices.
If you are new to this you may be faced with some issues, especially regarding what kind of applications you can publish, and how to do so.
There are numerous formats for applications to manage these days – you got the Windows store applications (appx) from Windows 8>>, Line of business apps in the form of MSI installers, and win32 apps.
I will not go into detail on MSI and Windows store here, as these are rather easy to deploy via the information in the web gui.
